Corsican Mint (Mentha requienii) is a low-growing, aromatic herb prized for its intense mint fragrance and tiny, bright green leaves. Native to Corsica and Sardinia, it forms a soft, mat-like ground cover perfect for rock gardens, walkways, and pots. When stepped on, it releases a refreshing peppermint scent that enhances any garden. Corsican mint also makes an excellent tea herb and is used for flavoring desserts and drinks, including the classic crème de menthe.
